Our vision is to become the premier management and technological electrical contracting firm for those areas in which we participate.

Chico Electric has been in business since 1960 and consists of three departments, a shop/warehouse, and administration.

The Construction Department is managed by Chris Young, and handles our large-scale industrial and commercial projects. Chris oversees five foremen, and twenty full-time crewmen. Larger projects staffing is accomplished through employment agencies. Some of Chris projects include Sierra Nevada Brewery, United Health Care, Bohler Field, Chico Produce, and C.O.R.P. Chris has been with us since 1995.

Our Agricultural Services Department leader is Greg January, and handles all of our agricultural projects. Greg oversees five to ten crewmen. Some of Gregs projects include: Mike Hart Almond Huller/Sheller, Stiles Huller Relocation, Land O Lakes, Durham Pump, Paiva Farms, Golden State Irrigation and Stone Tree Farms. Other past almond processing plants include Sam Lewis Jr. Farms, Peterson Ranch, Norbriga Farms, M&T Ranch, Cummings Ranch, Hill Top Ranch, Dejong Farms, Chuna Farms and Baldwin-Minkler Yolo 700 Huller / Sheller. We are proud of our innovative approach to almond facilities and our association with Lewis M. Carter Manaufacturing. Greg has been with us since 1986.

Chico Electric also provides installation and service for Telephone / Data cabling and infrastructure, Fire alarm and Security system with monitoring.

The Quick Service Department is managed by Skip Whaley, and handles all of our residential and commercial service calls. Skip manages one Assistant Manager and seven full time service technicians.

Norm Nielsen is our President. He is presently working on Chico Electrics long term planning stategies, new market and management development as well as production operations.
